Chris Knackstedt

Chris Knackstedt has served in senior executive positions in some of the nations top integrated health systems.  Most recently, Chris was executive vice president, treasurer, and chief financial officer (CFO) for Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, WA.  Group Health is an integrated healthcare system offering both medical care and insurance plans to more than 600,000 members and generating nearly $4 billion in revenue.

Prior to joining Group Health, Chris served as CFO for MultiCare Health System, a nonprofit integrated healthcare system located in Washington state, CFO for Mercy Health, a top integrated health system in Springfield, MO, and CFO at St. Anthony Health System in Denver, CO. In addition, he has worked on the insurance side of healthcare with Great-West Life and Annuity, Healthcare Division as the SVP of Healthcare Management/President, Great-West Healthcare, Inc. and as CEO of Mercy Health Plans.

Through these experiences Chris gained expertise in all aspects of managing provider systems and health plans, integrating health plans with provider systems, and specifically, focused his efforts on leading these organizations in developing new capabilities in accountable care, medical cost risk assumption, clinically integrated networks, and value-based contracts.

.Chris holds an MBA from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a bachelor’s degree in accountancy with a minor in economics from New Mexico State University. He is a CPA.

 

Donna A Goldin

Ms. Goldin worked for 25 years in the health insurance industry serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Private Healthcare Systems, Inc. in Waltham, MA; the Harris Methodists Health Plan in Fort Worth, TX and One Health Plans, a subsidiary of Great-West Healthcare.  With the integration of One Health Plans into the parent company, she acted as Senior Vice President of Healthcare Operations for Great-West Healthcare until its acquisition by CIGNA.  

In these roles Donna gained deep experience in all aspects of creating and managing health plans .  For the last six years, through her own consulting firm, Donna has worked with integrated healthcare systems across the country with a particular focus on developing new capabilities in accountable care; medical cost risk assumption and value-based contracts.
